Alright! So the majority has voted and our game shall be named.. ~drumroll~
The Quest to Delphi!
Okay people! Chris, you should try making a logo for it, make it something ancient looking and adventurous maybe. Therese, I tried opening the file you sent, but it has the extension .docx on it and I don't have a program that can open that. I tried changing it to .doc but that didn't work either. Maybe you can just post up some images here on the blog? Some should be included in our presentation.
(ok, I just read further down the blog, and my suggestion here would be to maybe take some images that have an ancient Greece look to it, and try and change some of the backgrounds to the screenshots I took from my game. If you could also add some text at the bottom that would give an idea of the dialogue of our game, that would be good. Maybe Therese and Emme can look at that?
As for the map, we should have a clear circle/line around every area I think, just like with Ithaca, and if you could divide the cities into red/blue/green like on my game map, or any other three colours that you'd like, that would be good, because it shows that all cities can't be accessed at the same time. Maybe you can have a small explanation about that at the bottom of the map.
Always a good suggestion: Make everything as clear as possible so even really stupid people can understand. )
Please also remember that for the Demo Day, besides the PP presentation that we're going to make (well, Chris is), we also need formal printed hand-outs. Maybe Emelie can put everything together in a Word document? I will proof-read it when we meet on the 16th. Everyone, please check your texts and revise/ellaborate if needed, you know it all has to sound good. I will put up my 200 words this weekend I hope.
I hope everyone is having a good week and for those of you who will be present during the exhibition thing with our good old Tornstrom project.. good luck. :P
